Magical Gotland

Gotland would like to grow to about 60,000 inhabitants and therefore welcomes new residents. In addition to a wonderful holiday on Gotland in which you can of course discover the island, it is also possible to stay on the island for a longer period of time and get to know the island life extensively.

Gotland is a special island, with lots of peace, space and beautiful nature. The island is known for its magical light, forests, golden yellow fields, over 800 km of coastline, fantastic opportunities for (Kite) surfers, fields full of flowers and the most horses per capita in all of Sweden. The island sometimes looks more Mediterranean and is therefore very different than you would expect from Sweden. The island currently has 57,000 inhabitants, of which about 22,000 people live in Visby, one of Sweden's most beautiful cities, with many nice restaurants, shops and many small designers and studios. Because part of Uppsala University is on Gotland, there are students year-round and Visby has a vibrant culture.
